Our Lunch and Recess are still at the same times, but everything else is a different. Our related arts (specials) are at a different time, but will stay on the same days. Ex: gym is still Mondays and Wednesdays.
The Math Intervention will take place during the last 1/2 hour of the day. The students will be sorted based on their individual Math needs and divided among 6 teachers: myself, Mrs. Dill, Mrs. Shreve, Ms. Markley, Mrs. Prince, and Mrs. Burroughs. The groups will be flexible and change about every week or two.
Our school-wide focus this year is to improve our Math scores on the OAA, so hopefully this intervention will help. 3rd grade however, is not incorporating this Math intervention because their focus is the 3rd grade guarantee which is a reading test.
This is starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21 and continuing through the end of the year.
